Brent Hurtig has been an independent management, communications, and marketing consultant since 1994, with a special focus on entrepreneurial and strategic initiatives. His work has benefited everything from start-ups to industry leaders such as eBay, Apple, Oracle, Dolby Labs, Avid, Lucasfilm, CNET, the L.A. Times New Business Division, and many others.

Along the way, he has spearheaded launches; served as founding COO and co-owner of a top-rated ecommerce site (consumer-ranked No. 1 on BizRate out of 4,000 competing sites); and has been fortunate enough to work with some truly exceptional teams.

Brent’s diverse business, management, and technical experience also serves him as principal consultant to the boutique executive search firm Parker Remick, Inc. In this capacity, he has contributed to the successful conclusion of key worldwide C- and V-level executive searches on behalf of Amazon.com, Kleiner Perkins, and other respected corporations and investment firms.
